Title: THE LOST STEPS

Synopsis: The opening in Spain of trials for the crimes committed during the Argentine military dictatorship brings unease to the Erigaray family. Husband and wife, Ernesto Erigaray (Luis Brandoni) and Inés Larroche (Concha Velasco), and their daughter, Mónica Erigaray (Irene Visedo), are a family beset by the accusations of a writer from Buenos Aires. Bruno Leardi (Federico Luppi) claims that Mónica is in fact his granddaughter Diana, supposedly kidnapped, along with his son and his daughter-in-law, by the Argentine military when she was one year old. LOST STEPS is the chronicle of that conflict´s impact on young Mónica’s life.
